SMX/SMXplus static mixers are designed for homogenisation and dispersion in laminar flow. Even dosing a small quantity of a low-viscosity additive into a high-viscosity main stream can be performed very efficiently.
The SMXplus mixer uses the same efficient mixing principle but is significantly more energy-efficient.
Applications: Spliteks mixers are ideally suited for thorough mixing of resins, additives, dyes and catalysts. In the food industry, they are used to homogenise high-viscosity liquids (e.g. sweet masses) and introduce low-viscosity additives into high-viscosity media (e.g. flavourings into chocolate).
